Please join us to hear a talk from Peter Scrivens of Wareham, the home of the Rev.John Hutchins, on his life and work in the 18th Century to bring us the first edition of the History and Antiquities of the County of Dorset. This famous work has since been updated and republished several times, but remains a key source for anyone interested in local history.

We will also be joined by Tristan from the Antique Map and Bookshop – https://www.puddletownbookshop.co.uk/ who will be bringing along several copies of the various editions for you to review.
